Managed AWS support — without hiring a full cloud ops team
If your workloads are on AWS (or heading there) and you need reliable support, monitoring, and a clear escalation path, we can help you evaluate managed options — then introduce qualified clients to Rackspace Technology for Fanatical Support for AWS.
AWS is powerful. Running it alone is hard.
Many growing companies land on AWS for good reasons — then discover the day-to-day work: monitoring, patching guidance, incident response, architecture questions, and keeping production stable are difficult to manage in house.
Hiring a full platform or support team is expensive. Doing nothing leaves you one outage away from a bad week.
Managed AWS support exists so you can keep building on AWS while a specialist team helps you operate it.
What “managed AWS support” is meant to give you
Exact scope depends on the Rackspace Technology offering you choose, but buyers typically look for:
- A named support relationship instead of ticket roulette alone
- Help with monitoring, operational guidance, disaster recovery and escalation when something breaks
- Advice that fits how AWS is actually used in production and AWS best practices
- Room for your internal team to focus on product and customers — not every cloud fire drill
- A path that can grow with you as usage and complexity grow
We will not oversell a specific SLA on this page. On a call or chat, we map your needs to the right managed support path — including Fanatical Support for AWS where that offering fits.
Is this a fit?
Strong fit
- SMBs and mid-market teams on AWS without a large DevOps or support bench
- Companies that want managed support and operations, not a full rewrite of their stack
- Canadian or U.S. organizations that want a plain-language advisor before signing a managed services agreement
- Teams comparing “hire more cloud engineers” vs. “buy managed support”
Probably not a fit
- You need Multi Cloud Consulting to be your 24×7 NOC — we advise and refer; we do not run Rackspace’s support operations
- You only want the cheapest DIY AWS account with no managed layer
- You need a custom software build or application development shop (that is not this engagement)
- Azure or private/hybrid is clearly the better primary path — we will say so and point you to those conversations
Clear roles
| You work with | Role |
|---|---|
| Multi Cloud Consulting | Advise on fit, answer plain-language questions, discuss your requirements, guide you on high level solution, introduce you to Rackspace Technology |
| Rackspace Technology | Deliver Fanatical Support for AWS (or the agreed managed AWS path), ongoing support and operations, and the customer relationship for the managed service |
We are a Rackspace Technology Associate Partner. We introduce qualified clients; we do not pretend to be Rackspace.
What happens next
- Short discovery call — Your AWS footprint, pain points, timeline, and who needs to be involved.
- Recommendation — Whether Fanatical Support for AWS (or another managed path) looks like a fit — or an honest “not yet / not this / try Azure or private-hybrid instead.”
- Introduction — If it is a fit, we introduce you to Rackspace Technology as a qualified referral.
- Their process + yours — You evaluate scope, commercials, and support model with Rackspace. We remain available for clarifying questions about the referral path.
No pressure pitch. The goal is a clear decision.

FAQ
Are you Rackspace?
No. Multi Cloud Consulting is an independent advisor and Rackspace Technology Associate Partner based in Vancouver, BC.
Who supports me day to day if I buy managed AWS support?
Rackspace Technology provides delivery and support under their customer agreement. We help you get to the right conversation and stay available as a referral point of contact.
Do you operate the managed service yourselves?
No. We do not run 24×7 managed operations as Multi Cloud Consulting. Our role is advice and qualified introduction.
Is Fanatical Support for AWS the only AWS path?
It is a well-known Rackspace Technology managed AWS offering we often discuss. Exact fit depends on your footprint — we map that on a call rather than lock you into one label on this page.
Can you help if we are in the U.S. as well as Canada?
Yes. We work with Canadian and U.S. clients.
Do I have to know which Rackspace package I want?
No. That is part of the discovery conversation.
Will you share pricing on this page?
Managed service pricing depends on footprint and scope. We will talk through expectations on a call rather than post one-size numbers that mislead.
What should I prepare for the first call?
A rough sense of what runs on AWS (or will), where it hurts today, and whether you have timeline or budget constraints. Screenshots and architecture diagrams help but are optional.
