Who we are

Multi Cloud Consulting (multi-cloud.ca) is an independent multi-cloud advisory practice based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We help Canadian and U.S. teams explore managed AWS, managed Azure, private/hybrid cloud, and cloud projects, and we may introduce qualified clients to Rackspace Technology.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Contact details you send us — such as name, email address, phone number, and message content when you use the contact form or email/call us.
• Technical data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP, via server logs and analytics tools.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used for basic site operation and, where enabled, analytics (for example Google Analytics via our analytics plugin).

We do not ask you to create a public account or leave blog comments on this site as part of the normal visitor experience.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry and book a call if appropriate
• To understand whether managed cloud or a project path is a fit
• To introduce you to Rackspace Technology when you are a qualified referral opportunity and that introduction makes sense
• To operate, secure, and improve multi-cloud.ca
• To meet legal or accounting obligations when required

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

• Rackspace Technology — when we introduce you as a qualified referral (typically the details you provided about your inquiry and needs)
• Service providers who help us run the site and communications — for example website hosting (currently on AWS Lightsail), form/email delivery, and analytics providers
• Professional or legal parties when required by law or to protect our rights

Those parties process information under their own policies and agreements with us where applicable.

Cookies and analytics

The site may set cookies needed for security and basic functionality. If analytics is enabled, third-party analytics cookies may also be used to understand traffic and page performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect site features.

Where information is processed

We are based in Canada. Hosting, email, analytics, and referral partners may process data in Canada, the United States, or other countries where those providers operate. If we introduce you to Rackspace Technology, your inquiry details may be processed in the regions where Rackspace and its tools operate.

How long we keep information

Contact inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond, manage a referral conversation, and meet ordinary business or legal record-keeping needs. Server logs and analytics data are retained according to our hosting and analytics tool settings, then deleted or aggregated.

Your choices

Subject to applicable Canadian privacy law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about this policy. Email duncan@multi-cloud.ca or use the contact form. We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information when we are legally required to do so.

Children

This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the revised policy.
